We are Sej & Lindzi, we both have experience in working with children, young people & adults around Mental Health, Neurodiversity & well-being.

 

We are incredibly passionate about making a difference & supporting those who need help. However, we can’t do everything. So with our network of like-minded people we want to create something special for Leicestershire. We want to showcase all the amazing services, initiatives, CIC’s, charities & businesses in Leicestershire where the public can go to for support, advice & services.

 

Many of us know someone who has struggled, hit rock bottom & come out of it, they have ‘Beat the Odds!’ This is not just a one off event, we want to create a community where we support each other by signposting individuals to get the help they need. Beat the Odds is for anyone who has had to overcome trauma, bullying, knife crime, domestic abuse, mental health & anything such as a parent/carer having their child diagnosed with Autism/ADHD.
